Current Rookgard

Sorry to say this Arn, but rook disappoints me. You don't learn the game there.
You are only told to check the website, post at the forum if you have a question (I would pm a player anyway since that's much faster) and to say that Sonia is unique, while they don't know anything about Sonia yet.

In which way does it help people? They already know how to attack a monster I hope.

I played the sorcerer and druid there. At the sorcerer the boss comes all of a sudden, making a door or stair would be better I think and at the druid place you can go to the unmapped circle around rook right at the first place and at the druid trainee.

I'm not sure what you expected. My whole goal of rookguard was to allow...

A. Players to gain a few begining levels quickly.
B. Understand that there is more to the server than they know.

Its not supposed to be an in-game manual on how to play the server. I'm not going to put an in-depth article on how to use the auction system on rook. All I want is for players to be able to understand that they DONT know much about this server, and that they can find out more on our website and forum. Thats all. You don't have to bring the information to the player, you just have to show WHERE it is.

Ah, oke. I thought it would really show all custom stuff and such.
Since you can't find how to buy houses you could make the topic I wrote at general discussions called "commands" sticky so they can find that easily?

Im proud to say i failed the question part of rook like 10 times. (Its NOT wait for GM Arn to log in)

One question though couldn't someone just stay in rook and kill those knights untill a very high lvl cause they give 1800xp more then any mob ingame at that same lvl.

A. very slow respawn
B. its a small area so your blocking the respawn almost all of the time.
C. most people won't do that because their anxious to get off rook.

Ok the slow respawn got me. The other two you can log i assume and if you know like myself you would stay.

I like it so far, played the knight and paladin versions.

It would be nicer if there was a town afterwards with a little bit of RPGing quests and what not.

I know, I'm satisfied with it, but at the same time, I wish I had done more.

Just that bit that I added took me over 25 hours of work.

Liked the mapping of the sorcerer version.

Start a druid but got distracted with a bug that allowed me to circle rookgaard lol!

Few typos on signs as well

At the place for the first druid eq it's at the NE where the trees and bushes doesn't lock off the area if I remember it right and at the druid trainee it's north of the tp that leads to the questions.

There's 2 spots you can get out at, but once u go through the teleport to questions you can't go back.

It would be nice to see a rook town after you kill the boss. With epic low level quests for epic rook items. If enough people had rook chars we could start a Rook War! As long as when you die in rook you go to a rook temple.
